WHICH DOCUMENTS TO BRING TO AN SRS THEMATIC INSPECTION?

You will surely agree – it looks suspicious if your relatively large and serious company brings only a couple of documents to the SRS. However, such a scene is often observed when visiting the institution on Talejas Street.
However, it must be remembered that SRS employees have a specific list of requested documents that must definitely be presented, but beyond this list, it will be your free choice whether to present them or not.
If your declaration or financial report has been submitted erroneously, you will certainly be asked for explanations or corrections.
SRS employees have the right to request these documents from you (and not only these):
Accounting methodology;
invoices and waybills;
contracts with suppliers and buyers;
transport documents;
bank account statements;
cash documents;
advance reports;
salary calculations;
employment contracts;
work time tracking sheets;
chronological register;
contract with the accountant…
How to submit documents
They can be submitted electronically (with an e-signature) or in paper form.
In paper form, they must be submitted in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 558 “Procedures for Drafting and Formatting Documents,” namely, the documents must be bound, pages numbered, and the correctness of copies certified…
We recommend always evaluating whether it is worth submitting specific documents, as well as making sure whether all signatures and stamps are in place. For SRS employees, a real treat would be the same invoice for different amounts or an accountant’s note forgotten among the waybills – “Jurčiks was given a kickback in cash, 2,730 euros”…
We hope you will not need this information, but just in case, consult with specialists…
P.S. Next time we will find out how to correctly issue a loan to a company owner: with or without interest.
